Still looking since thats half the fun!
I have access to about 6 55 gaalon barrels used to hold motor oil, hydro fluid.

Problem is that 1 barrel is welded to another making 2 barrels now 1. So bassically I have 3 long barrels. They have a few holes in them so the fluids go get "air" so it doesnt "gulp.

I cut 1 today and Am going to use it as a trash barrel but the rest i dont know what to do with them

A friends dad suggested I can get the rest welded and use it as a culvert but I dont need a culvert.

It sounds like you have a steady supply of trash barrels for the time come.

Why would someone weld them together???

I used some for cattle feed troff's years ago. They were good lined metal soap barrels though. With yours being used for old oil thats probably not an option. With the holes a shop wood stove conversion is also out of the question.

Guess you have plenty of used tractor oil storage!

I declined to get the rest of them and took one and made a trash barrel out of it.. I decided to buy a wood stove so i wont need a stove. The bab-q pit is a good idea but Ill never use something that big.Im sure they will be avaible again the future if you guys can think of anything creative.

Since the barrels only last about 3 years till they burn out or rust up as trash barrels I would have taken all of them, made the one trash barrel and stored the others for replacements of the burning barrel.
You will need them .

I have about 5 barrels stored in one of my pole buildings for replacements of my burning barrell.
I got them all free so it makes sense to take free ones to use for replacements.

I gave the other end to a friend to use to put around stumps so he could burn them.
I dont have a covered place to store them right now if i took them they would all rust at the same rate.

Actually - they'd last longer than the ones being used as a burn barrel - the heated ones will rust much faster.
