What to do with a 1450 trans?

I've had my 1450 for a couple of years. It has developed a pretty good fluid leak between the Trans unit and the rear end, so I pulled them out today and found the offending gasket. My question, is there anything else I should do while I have it apart?

That's a common leak point on the 1450. Smear the gasket with a good RTV sealant before assembling.
