My sister in law in her 80s has moved out of state and is trying to sell a 9 acre plot of land she used to live on in Louisiana. Her son lived on the property for the last 20 years and was a junk collector. The property is full of old Mobile homes, travel trailers and many tons of junk with weeds and trees growing through them. Her son died a few months ago leaving a huge mess that would need bulldozers and excavators to move and the realtor told her that it would be impossible for her to sell it without cleaning up the property first.
I went to see the property today with her other son to see the property today and give advice on what to do with it and saw these 2 old tractors on it. The story is that he had bought them a couple of years ago for $800 each and at least one of them worked. He was planning on fixing them up but got sick and never got around to doing anything but taking the hoods off. No one knows anything else about the tractors. Ten years ago I would have loved to get one of them to fool with in my spare time but now I have overloaded myself with other projects and am too old to take on anymore.
I don't even know what models these are and if they are collector items or not and if they are worth anything to anybody and I sure would hate for them to sell them as scrap metal if they are worth something to somebody. Anyone who wanted them would have to load and transport them as is.
I just took 7 photos with my phone and they didn't come out too great. There is also another rear tire I did not get a photo of and part of a disc.
Can anyone tell me if these might be worth something to someone or to tell them they are only good for scrap metal?
