North Cackelacky...FINALLY.
Tractor
None right now...
The tractor we have bought is a MF 40 industrial model.
The toplink is missing so we need to buy another.
This would be a Category 1 correct?

Also anyone who has anything more to share about this model tractor it would be GREATLY appreciated.

It is a unknown year(late 1960's through 1975 I believe) MF 40 with diesel 3 cylinder, shuttle shift(would like ANY info on this), PTO with draft control and obviously a 3PH.Also has a loader(unsure of model) that runs off of a auxiliary pump mounted on the front of the engine.Bucket is quite small(42 inches??) and has only one cylinder to control tilting the bucket.

Thanks.:)

I would consider giving a call to a MF dealership there and asking them for the length and price of the proper 3rd arm. It sounds like it would be a Cat 1 but there are variances of those. Or you can hook up to a 3pth implement and with the lift arms down should be able to get a good idea on the length.

I agree you could call the massey dealer and get the correct info, I have found that I need more than one length top link, shorter link for harrows, longer for bush hog, and really long for my scrape blade.
