What type of things should I try to get "thrown in" to a sale?

i didnt ask my dealer to throw in anything because i squeezed them pretty good on the price.i finally got 2 free caps out of them when they delivered the 3pt tiller a few months later that i bought from them.

Chain hooks welded to the FEL bucket (you supply the hooks you want, dealer installs them)

Rear hydraulic remotes (2 or 3 pair). My dealer installed triple rear remotes on my 2008 Mahindra 5525 when I bought it new. Cost: $700, about half what you'd normally pay for triples.

I'd ask for a block heater the next time I get a tractor.

I got 6 quarts of oil and a filter when I got my car. Some hats with the JD. Antenna and mudflaps for the truck. I probably paid enough in profit that they did not lose their shirts on me. The tractor they delivered and did a pickup/return with another set of keys when the loader arrived for install.

I was $500 apart from my dealers best price and my offer. We settled at $200 off his price, loaded rears, printed shop manual, two suitcase weights, auto-connect PTO option, and delivery. That was an easy $300 for me to spend!
