I have a used TC45D with an automatic transmission. All of a sudden it didn't want to go forward. There was a lot of reverse pressure on the foot pedal. Reverse worked okay but eventually reverse didn't work either. I checked the transmission fluid dipstick (by the 3PH) and it's dry as a bone. My question is what type of transmission fluid should I use. Tractor Supply has transmission fluid for tractors but I don't know if it's the correct kind. Also how much transmission fluid will it hold. Lastly, any advice about how to resolve the - no go situation.
