MF Permatran or SAE80 GL-3 or GL-4 fluid.1020 Manual trans takes 24.3 US quarts or 23 L of fluid. Hydro models take 26 L or 27.5 quarts. Note that is assuming all the old oil was completely drained from the tractor, which will not be the case.
