After messing with free/leftover wood pallets ( for storing the horse hay on) for the past 16 years...... I finally decided on seeing if i can find some plastic pallets.

Who knew that these even existed......

I found a local supplier that had 40x48" dual sided plastic pallets ... both new and used in stock. the new are over $100 each but the used can be had for 15-20 bucks a shot.

Imagine...not having to rebuild all the pallets every spring when it comes time to stockpile the hay for the horses. I wish i checked into this years ago.

Ahhh. modern times:cool2:

I bought some at a yearly surplus school auction three years ago. I must have got a good deal, because I bought 10 of them for $3.00 apiece. They work pretty good, but I don't let direct sunlight shine on them. I think that direct sunlight might weaken them. I've had cheap plastic deck chairs break on me from the Sun's rays. Just a thought.

my hay is stored in a shed, so sunlight would not be any problem. that is a great price. ive been checking all over for these things. most used are in the $30-40 range each...plus shipping.
