I can't imagine any damage would occur from this.

I got it figured out. Amsoil cross referenced it for me. Its the same oil that goes in the tranny not the 75w90 the dealer told me would be ok.

Garrabo,

Isn't that what I said in the very first reply to your post 2 days ago?

why yes it was. sorry I didnt credit that. I was excited and bugged out and overlooked it. I freak out pretty easy sometimes. When it comes to the 30k tractor I tend to overact. My dealer told me that synthetic oil was veggie based, is this true? If so he claims it wont mix with the hy gard but amsoil claims there products are mixable with conventional oil's. who knows, probobly more wrong advice
from the dealer. thanks for all the replys and sorry I was blinded by being freaked /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Garrabo,

Hard to know for sure who to believe. If it was me, I would completely drain the MFWD oil and replace with the amsoil synthetic that you prefer. You currently have about a 14% mixture of 75W90 synthetic gear oil in there already. That in itself is an unknown. Probably ok but, as you said, its a 30K tractor. Is it worth the chance for the cost of the replacement oil? Good luck.
