Hey all, my 3rd and hopefully not for awhile post again, so after recommendations on my last post, I've narrowed my search down to three tractors, so I was wondering if anyone with more experience could give some insight, and just fwi all prices are aud, since for some reason our markets more expensive. And would all of these have to be transported on a tilt tray? (Rollback for Americans)

So, first is the Leyland 154, overall it has a loader which is a massive plus, and is one of the few cheaper tractors I've seen with no issues
(Leyland 154 Tractor | Farming Vehicles | Gumtree Australia Maroochydore Area - Nambour | 1301497534)

The second was the Massey gc2300, for 5800$, good condition but had 1500 hours, and was atleast well maintained but more than I'd be comfortable spending

The third and cheapest was this, overall the cheapest but kinda rough, and also no loader but still was very heavy (ground for the last few months has been so wet you can barely even drive anything on it, so weight is a massive concern, but I didn't worry with the Leyland since the loader was worth it) and overall it seems kinda midrange, but the price point is very enticing (Log into Facebook)

The Leyland was made in 1984. It looks like a homemade loader to me, or at least modified from another tractor. Use of that on a 2WD tractor of that size would likely be limited, especially since it projects quite a bit beyond the front of the tractor. Even though it's missing some paint the tractor is still in good shape for the year. The age and lack of 4WD would be a dealbreaker for me. (I could shorten the loader arms if I had to.)
The Massey is considerably lighter (1367 lbs vs 2325 for the Leyland, according to Tractordata.com) and doesn't have a loader.
I'm not on FB so couldn't view that one.

I didn't see what you plan to do with it. The Massey is newer and would be a great machine for around the yard- if you don't need a loader. Sometimes you are better off spending a little more in the short run.

Wow really? It's homemade? Huh, well I was thinking it was an official loader which sways my opinion alot. And I'm really starting to agree with the Massey, ran the lawnmower through today (only about 200kg) but it's 2wd, and the only time it had issues was when I needed 4wd. From what I've read the Massey has way way less issues tearing up grass and just generally seems more complete, so I'll consider saving up some extra for that. Thanks for all the help man, you just saved me potentially 4K worth of headaches

In my opinion the Massey is best, it’s the newest and most modern but you probably would need to find a loader for it.
