Looking at used/new loaders for a Kubota MX5000 4x4, below the lift height /capacity at the pin is listed for a few. (may be rated at slightly different hyd. pressure)
There is an LA852-1 and 852-2, is there any difference? 110" / 2469 lbs
Kubota LB702, 101" / 1852 lbs

Other brands that fit? I made mounting brackets for a WL42/4020 we use, can make these, so although I would use the mounting brackets if available, don't need them, just the loader & valve.

Koyker 185 114" / 2465 lbs
Rhino 1595 106" / 1950 lbs
Bush Hog 2346 107" / 1970 lbs
Bush Hog or Great bend 3045? 110" / 2350 lbs
Woods? does the LC108 fit? 108" / *1800lbs @19.7"

Others? Is there anything available that lists a tractor then the brand & loader number that fits? Any listed that will not fit the MX5000?

Any of these would work if the price was right, The skid steer QA would be useful to me.

LA 852 and LA 853 work. I have a MX 5000 with a LA 852 loader. To calculate Kubota loaders lift, use 2.2 LBS X loader model i.e. LA 852 X 2.2 = 1875 lbs. Kubota uses true numbers many don't. This means you can lift a 1875 bucket full height.

The problem with going much bigger is than with loaded tires and no counterweight the tractor is stable with that much weight. Upsize the loader payload and additional counterweight is required. Just cause you can lift it doesn't mean you can turn and manoeuvre safely with it, say to turn an load a truck, or pile it.

I have loader specs around somewhere let me know if you want them and I will post PDF.

PS: keep your seatbelt on at all times!

So 852 appears to be in Kg, and a rating at some distance out from the pins, maybe. I would be interested in the specifications. I'd prefer the Kubota loaders, if I can find one in the KS, NE, MO, AR, OK, CO, etc. central USA area. I hadn't thought much about the balance issue. The Kubota loaders may have a slight advantage there. Thanks

That's right its kilograms. attached is loader spec for LA 852. Kubota websire says LA 844 is rated at 1388 kg (3060 lbs), don't know how they calculated that one? The other one is an LA 1002, but not sure about those specs and MX model suitability.

I have a LA852-2 loader on my MX5000, and it cost me $4,200 (this price may seem a bit high, but it included a special warranty on the loader). You should be able to find used LA852s in the $2,500 to $3,000 range. My loader has quick attach so that I can essentially use any skid steer attachments on it; I'm often switching between my bucket and snow blade. My snow blade is a BoDozer by Borgford Design and Manufacturing: Home

The most I've ever lifted with my bucket is just over a ton (using forks). I felt that this was pushing the limit - had to go very slow, kept the load low, and stayed on a level and relatively smooth surface. As CANdiyMXER says, ALWAYS wear your seat belt.

I'm looking for a used Loader for a Kubota MX5000. My location is the Nashville, TN area. No luck on internet searches.

A used loader is almost impossible to find. I bought a Stoll for my 1720 New Holland. It fit OK but since it was a discontinued model the current Stoll loader brackets were for the current TC 30. One of the mounting bracket holes could not be utilized on each side of the tractor. This is somewhat common with some loaders when fitting discontinued models. You should not have that problem with the MX.

I would compare a Kubota FEL to a Woods, Westendorf, Koyker, etc... They will be similar in capacities. I would stay with the Kubota loader personally.

Is there a valid reason that you would want to go with the problems and hassles of a loader mis-match. Get the Kubota loader designed for your tractor and be done with it.

I have no plans on a loader mis-match. Also, "finding a used loader is almost impossible" has turned out to be a true statement. I even stopped by a place in a small town nearby who rebuilds tractors and sells them used. He don't sell loaders. He said when he gets the opportunity for a used loader it benefits him more to put it on a tractor he will sell and sell the tractor with loader. At the time he could have used the same loader I am looking for if available. I picked up the MX5000 from a neighbor in July with a landfill bush hog. I spoke with the local Kubota dealer who priced a Kubota loader at 5K. He also sells a non Kubota brand (can't remember which) for about a thousand less. I really don't need the loader until next spring so I thought I would try and stumble on a used one until then. If I have no luck I will probably just pay the 5K for the Kubota loader.

Sorry Titan - did not mean to be harsh but - - I've learned from 35+ years that I would have to live to be as old as Methuselah to find used implements. About 30 years ago I gave up - bought the bullet and realized anything I wanted would be - new - big - expensive. I alway scan the local sales web sites - Craig's List, etc - never, not even once, in 35 years has there ever been a piece of equipment - except the stuff for large farming.
