This is almost like a personality test
The 3 pt stabilization chain on my Kubota broke; actually it was the turnbuckle. For the snow calamity we have now I just supplied it with chunk of chain, it is crude but with one side working the chain will do.
Now to replace the stabilization chain I have several options:
There will always be some fabrication except the first one, of course.
Now which route would you go? It is almost like that story about teaching to fish, isn't it? I think I will go with the last option - because getting new tools is always nice.
Now to replace the stabilization chain I have several options:
- buy OE piece from Kubota
- buy another turnbuckle
- buy some left thread nuts and bolts and built it myself
- buy left thread tap and die in - say 1/2"x13 and have it for future needs.
