What year and model is this ?

A very close friend of mine inheritted this tractor after her father passed away a couple years ago.

She is pretty sentimental about the tractor, and doesn't really want to sell it to a stranger and never see it again.

I really don't need another project right now, but I could see restoring it in a year or two.

Can someone tell me what year and model this tractor is, and approximately what it's worth.

This tractor is in Connecticut, and currently is not running.

the A and the B had smaller rear tires, so I am "guessing" it is a C

It is a Super C...you can tell by a number of things...first you can look at the serial # (you'll find it on the left side--as sitting on the tractor--on the tool box/seat base)...a C will have a 5 digit number a Super C will be a 6 digit starting at 100000....also the generator and Volt regulator on a C were piggybacked,,,the Super C was separated with the VR under the generator..also the Super C has a water pump...C may not...on the Super C , there is a about a 2 inch separation from the fuel tank to the top of the hydraulic unit...on the C, they nearly touch...by the looks of the tractor, its in decent shape..if the engine isn't locked up you should be able to get it running pretty easlily...hey the wheel weights on the front are worth $150 by themselves...good luck.. Yep, Super C... And looks like, if I'm seeing right, someone added an aftermarket 3 pt. hitch. Ought to make it worth a little more, although I prefer my OEM Fast Hitch with these particular tractors.

I have 2 with FH and assorted implements, and handier than the pocket in your shirt..!!

It defintely looks like a good solid tractor, and will make a great restoration project.

I'm in the middle of doing a car restoration project, so this one will have to wait.

even got the rear weights too. I paid 120$ for the set for my C a while back.

nice tractors. I redid my C last year sometime.

easy to get aprts for.. lots of salvage and spares.. adn still small enough engine to hand crank.
