What year exactly is my John Deere 214

Hello all new to this site as I have just bought myself a riding Lawn Mower. It's a John Deere 214 Product Id # M00214X363754 with a Kohler 14 hp Model # K321AQS, Spec # 60318 and finally the serial # 1605606694.

What I'm trying to find out is what year exactly is this mower. I bought it from my sons friends dad for $120. It had problems but I have fixed by replacing the points, coil and condenser and now have a smooth running riding lawn mower. Please help and thanks in advance.

According to tractordata.com it looks like yours is a 1986. If you go to the site you can find lots of specs on all tractors.
See attached serial # list.
