What year is my tractor?

I purchased a new NH T4.75. My warranty started as of 2/1/19. Does that make my tractor a 2019 model? The serial number plate on the engine shows that it was made 7/17. When the engine was made may not have any bearing on when the tractor was assembled.

My previous tractor was an International 2500B, open station, cold in the winter especially blowing snow.

Yes, that makes your tractor a 2019. Tractor years are normally the date they are purchased and not when assembled.

Since tractors don't change each year like cars and trucks, their year starts when they are purchased.
