- Oliver Super55, John Deere 4310, John Deere 4400, Kubota L2500 (had),
Allis Chalmers D-15 (The first and best orange tractor) and Oliver super 55. Just really like old iron. Both of these manufacturers were powerhouses in there heyday. Why they both went under I will never know but in my mind both brands are iconic farming Americana.

My favorite is the 'ole Farmall Cub tractors, because I read the "Tractor Mac" books to my baby boy, and that's the tractor the author based his books on. Every time I see one it makes me think of my boy.

- Getting old. Sold the ranch. Sold the tractors. Moved back to the city.
I collect/restore high crop tractors with bull gears on the rear axle (Farmall Super A, Minneapolis Moline BF, Farmall Cub, Oliver 60). I like the way they look and they're fun to restore. However, my most recent purchase (Sep 2012) was a 1949 JD B--always wanted to own a two-lunger Johnny Popper.
