what's a 140 worth

I have the chance to buy a john deere 140 with a 4 way snow plow it has 3 levers on the left and one on the right it has 2 rear ag tires with plastic wheel weights and chains ..has 1567 hours on the meter the guy says the motor and hydraulics work fine and the paint looks very good..my question is how much is a tractor like this worth ..?? johnny

I guess it would depend a lot on which specific series you're looking at. Either way, with 1567 hours the owner has gotten a LOT of use out of that little tractor. Given the weight and the power I hope you don't have much snow to push. TractorData.com John Deere 14 tractor information

Wow, that tractor is 50 years old.
We got a D105 and it lasted 7 years.

If you're selling it is worth whatever price you care to put on it. The buyer will determine what it's worth. If you're buying you should probably search elsewhere - I would. It may be really well made but it's also really old.

just picked it up I was able to talk the guy down to $360 I think I did pretty good considering the 4 way hydraulic snowplow alone go's for $350 up here in the poconos the tractor it self need some t.l.c but it starts and ride good for such an old tractor and the guy said it moves snow like no other which is what I need it for..thanks so much for your feed back....johnny
