whats a panda?

I know where I can buy a new panda for cheap! But what is it? The seller says its a Mitsubishi. Someone told me its from China! Its a 1800 19.5hp 4x4 with Allied FEL with a rollbar. Its been sitting on the lot for a couple of years....why? The guy is going out of business and i think i can get it for about 10k Can. What do you think?

I never heard of a Panda, but IMO this is a chinese tractor. Finding info on Chinese tractors is difficult, but here are some things I've found. There are three, maybe four tractor factories in China. Some of these are being imported into the US, and sold under many, many different names.
I would ask the seller why he thinks this is a Mitsubishi. Check the tractor over for an ID plate. Beneath the sheet metal, if the thing looks rough, you can bet it's chinese made.

I had another look at the "Panda" and it has an I.D. plate that says VST tillers,tractors ltd. India.So i guess its made in India?Ever hear of that?Im getting leary of this thing,maybe I will look for a good used Kubota!

I did just a quick web search. Not much on VST Tillers Tractors Ltd. They are made in India, and VST is owned by The Mitsubishi Group. It looks to me like they make their own engines and transmissions. Getting parts for this thing would be an extreme challenge.
