Buying a house with one already built!
I made the offer thanksgiving week, and closing
is Friday. There are some things that need
attention, but got a good deal on the property.
Has a 3 stall detached garage, (room for a couple
cars AND my tractor! ) and,
there is a 40x60 shop with large overhead doors!
(one is damaged, but could be replaced if needed)

here's the roadside pics of the garage and shop,
will get more of the inside of the shop, it was a truck
repair type shop, and had insulation, electric, and water
already installed. No air lines though.

have some house renovations to do, expect to move in
mid to late Feb if all things go ok with the projects.

How long did it take you to realize that the nice shop and garage actually came with a house too?:)

Looks great, I am happy for you.

Looks great, I am happy for you.

Notice, he hardly mentioned the house and no photos:laughing: I'd be the same way though and I would look forward to many hours "tinkering" in a big shop like that.

Congrats:thumbsup:

How large are those doors? I've got a 12 x 12 on my building and those look a lot bigger.

Nice... I always said a shop is better to own that a house...... but just try to convince the wife about that idea:thumbsup:

yea, it has been mentioned that all i cared about was
the shop, oh and the fact that the local snowmobile trail
crosses at the end of the driveway..

The house is a 2002 Cape , with the 2nd floor finished into
2 large bedrooms and bathroom. That makes a total of 4 bedrooms
and 3 bathrooms, although total is approx the same sq footage
we are in now with 1 bathroom and 3 bedrooms.

but after acquiring these things over the years, it will be nice
to have a covered place to keep my travel trailer, boat, gator,
tractor, snowmobiles, etc. Where we are now there is a small
older barn/garage housing the smaller stuff, so the extra space
will be great to have, and I may even park my truck in the
garage! (well maybe in winter).

More pictures will come after I close Friday,

I think the shop doors are 15' wide, and maybe close to
that tall? I tried to pace them off, and they almost look
as tall as they are wide. The original owner had a truck shop,
and was a dump body trucking company.(since relocated)

:D
