Got my cargo container organized for spring. I have it situated on my remote tree farm so that I can securly store my Kubiota B2710, attachments, and tools. This container is a 20 foot high-cube ("high cubic foot volume" - nine and a half feet tall vs the usual 8 foot). I had delivered in a rainstorm last winter. I had to call the cat guy to pull the delivery truck up the hill. Photos show what it will store. I usually like to back the tractor in, just in case I have to jump start it sometime, but with the addition of a new bush hog I need to head the tractor in and put the FEL on top of the mower. Of course if I took off the log splitter I could back in. Note the Harbor Freight furniture dollies under the implements. Makes for adjusting their postions in small space quite easy. Got a good lock and had the vender weld on a lock box to protect against bolt cutters. I'd like to see pictures of others for ideas.

Looks great. I thought about doing the same thing at our property, but then decided to bite the bullet and build a pole barn. Still like the idea of those containers though! Looking forward to seeing other pictures/ideas as well.

For a remote place I think it is harder to break into a cargo container than a pole building sonce the steel walls are thicker. I could envision somone powersawing into the pole barn I have (noisy, but effective), but they would need more than that to get into the container - more like a cutting torch.

Do they have vents in them? If not I would suggest cutting one in somewhere so that they can breath, otherwise they will condensate.

We use ours for square bale storage. Works great. If stacked correctly, we get 334 bales in 40 ft

Since you are from this area. What does a container like that cost and who did you get it from?

Not really a problem, don't know why. Certainly not like my pole barn which rains inside on a cold day. Since icondensation is not a problem cargo movers have, I guess it is magic. (Maybe it's because there is no moisture coming up from below since they are tight all around).

Aztec Container in Rochester. They have a website you can google. $3500 delivered (plus a couple hundred for the cat guy to get the truck up the hill), would have been $3000 or so with out the paint job. Of note, forty footers are only hundreds more than 20 footers. I didn't have room for the long one, but would have liked to have the space.
