Spreader What's it worth? cultivator & fertilizer spreader

I have a 3-point connection cultivator with 9 plows and 4 shields. It's old, but works fine. What's it worth?

Also have a 3-point connection fertilizer spreader. This thing is in bad shape. The hopper is badly rusted and has holes near the bottom. The spreader/PTO portion does turn (not frozen). This is a project for someone with a welder or sheet metal skills. What do you think it's worth? I was guessing $50.

That chisel plow/cultivator is prolly worth around the $150-$250 range. It doesn't look like it has any trip springs on it so that makes it a bit less desireable. The spreader looks pretty rough, but if it works as is I don't think I would give more than $50 for it. Those are just my opinions though, their real worth is what someone would actually pay to take them home.

True, the cultivator is not spring loaded.

Tom, I can't say about the seeder/spreader, but that cultivator is worth more than $250 in my opinion. I think I've seen them on craigslist for $300 to $600 depending on how many attachments and condition. If I were selling yours, I'd start at $375 or $400 and give myself some negotiating room. Those old Ferguson or Dearborn 2-row cultivators sure are handy and do a great job. New sweeps are readily available in many sizes. I even have a middle buster attachment for mine.
