for a 2320? I've looked at a Frontier RT 1150 & 1160 and a Taylor Way 48 & 60. What size box blade too?

We run a Frontier 1157 (57") behind our 4110 all the time with zero issues and the power is fine, even in heavy ground. If I were you I would stay with a 60 inch.

IMHO, stay with a tiller that has 6 tines, not 4. Make sure you get one with a slip clutch. Gear drive are nice, but the chain drives seem to hold up just as well.

I run the John Deere 655 tiller behind my 2320 and it does great and is really heavy duty. I was told that its still one of the attachments still made by John Deere and not subcontracted out (yet?) to Frontier. I did buy the tiller a year ago along with the tractor so I don't know if that has changed.

I purchased a Bush Hog 60" Box Blade this spring for use with my 2320. It has performed well on the driveway and in the hard pack dirt. With an aggressive bite and a full box, you can spin the tractor out. If you get close enough to your house, you can also locate your buried electrical ground wire:D

I don't have a tiller - but I wish I had one.

I have a 4310, which is 32 hp. I think it is in your hp range.

I have a 655 tiller and can say it seems bullet proof. The skids for depth control need to be thinner to let the tiller go deeper. It seems to only tilll to a depth of about 6-8 inches.

I have a king kutter 72" box blade for grading drives. I need the MFWD when it is full. Does a great job. The KK is not the handiest design for changing the depth of ripper shanks but does work. I would heartily recomend a hydraulic top link for any BB work.

Is it just me or is the Frontier site worthless on product selection and details?

I have been trying to figure out their tiller offerings and I can't figure it out.

You can get large tillers that will go much deeper but require high hp pto
machines to handle them. Six to eight inches is the norm for most hd tillers though so dont feel shorted.

The top link is very handy for any boxblade as is a full top and tilt setup with hydraulic scarifiers. One of the few areas that I have a deluxe setup in.

I had the same issue when ordering a tiller with my 4520 this year and settled for the 673. Had to inquire at the dealer and then was shown spec sheets and prices.

That 72" Sigma looked good on everthingattachments, should be about the same as mine. Maybe I was lazy but living in Ruidoso with little to choose from I went with what the dealer sold. Previous tiller was a Howard rotovator and was and still is a good unit that jumped a lot of large buried rocks without any problems. Just wanted something that would till deeper and so far the 673 has been great. Bought the 673 for $2900+tax.

The Land-Pride, 48", reverse turning tiller has proven to be a great tiller for my 2320.

I run the Frontier RT 1160H with my Deere 3038 with no problems.
I till about an acre garden spot and till around my fruit trees for weed control.
I have a brother-in-law that had a John Deere dealership and the 3038 and Frontier tiller was his suggestion. I have been pleased.

Swomack may have made up his mind, but many of us newbbies haven't yet. So keep on giving options and opinions. I enjoy them. The threads may be old, but the subjects are timeless.
