Price Check whats the pricing on the DK45SE HST?

wow thats considerably lower than the price of the L4240. How does everybody like there kioti? also where can I get the specs on the loader on the kioti.

I just went threw the same thing a couple months ago.I looked at the Kubota gand L4240(fel),Mahindra 4110 (fel)and Kioti Dk40se(fel).I bought the Kioti Dk40 se,it was $7,000 dollars cheaper the the Kubota 4240 with the front end loader.coobie

I haven't seen anyone complaining about anything significant on the new DK40se/45se. Most of us think they are great. They are not only highly capable and well designed but are usually a much better value (like $5000-6000 or so savings) over the Kubota or JD equivalent. As I recall the direct match for the DK40se is the Kubota 3940. The Kubota has a more sophisticated HST but the Kioti has essentially the same HST capabilties as last year's Kubota so it is hardly antiquated. The KL401 loader is stronger than the loaders available for either the Kubota or JD in this horsepower range. The ergonomics of the Kioti are excellent, try sitting in one and operating it, you'll probably buy one if you do.

I fully agree on the front end loader being stronger on the Kioti KL401 loader verses the Kubota 4240 and 3940.I burn wood pellets for heating in the winter months and the KL401 was the only loader that would pickup 2000 lbs of wood pellets that I need to unload of my trailer.coobie

I don't get paid by Kioti, this site, or my dealer to say this....I like my tractor (DK45 SE HST) alot. Having said that, it is a piece of equipment, and things can and do go wrong.

Parts have not been an issue for me, I call my dealer, he orders them in, and I pick them up when I am over his way.

Attachments - you can use almost anything with it. Quick attach FEL bucket adds versatility.

If you get one, get the second set of remotes, even if you never plan on using rear remotes. I have one set, and now am contemplating a purchase that may require two sets. You can run them after the fact, but why bother.

One point to consider, is see how much it would cost you to do the maintenance on both machines. It does vary by manufacturer.

I have been posting pics about my dk45 on the owning operating area. I do alot of FEL work with this tractor, and have had no problems with the loader, the weight of the tractor, or the breakout force. For a 45 hp tractor that lifts a ton, it is ok by me. Do a search and look for the negatives and positives of the tractor before you buy one.

Just go stand on a comparable kubota hst and feel how flimsy that have made the floorboard, that is if you have a place to stand with FIVE pedals on the floor..
One more vote for the DK45HST.

Coobie, you'd have to Restack that pallet into three pallets to unload with my ck30hst. By hand!!
