I have about 3/4 tank in the tractor. I parked it for a while and just went to put it away. The light started flashing as the guage slowly went from 3/4 to empty in about 3-4 seconds.???? now it sits on E. No sign of a leak at all. Any ideas?
Is there really 3/4 of a tank in there or have some of the neighborhood "vandals" been helping themselves to your fuel? For what it's worth, I am replacing the entire instrument cluster (under warranty) on my 3520 because of a defective hour meter. It's not that big a stretch to think that there might be other problems with the clusters...
I have a 3520 also and the same thing happened to me the other day. But the strange thing is it had still had fuel in it. I shut it off and restarted it and then it read 3/4 a tank. I had it on level ground in fact I was changing over from my blade to put on the mower and when I jumped back on the seat the fuel light was on. So know it makes me wonder should I trust the fuel guage or not?
Wes, did it straighten itself out? I will go check mine and see if it is still doing it. hate to have to take it to the dealer over something like this.
I went ahead and mowed for about 2hrs and it didn't show up and again the next day it worked fine. So I don't know if it is working fine or not. I just read your post and thought there might be something going on here. I got my tractor last year around Aug just wondering when you got your tractor. If there is going to be problem just want to nip it in bud. Did your clear up after shutting it off and restarting it also? or is you light on all the time?
