What\'s Up???

Did I miss something? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Last night, I downloaded for the last time the 4110 spec sheet. Today, I popped on the site and noticed the following changes to the spec sheet.

5-16 spec sheet -- 5-17 spec sheet

HP = 41 -- 40.4
Steering Pump= 4.64 -- 4.41
Hyd Pump= 7.87 -- 9.48
Rear tire= 17.5Lx24 -- 16.9x24

ML112 Loader
5-16 -- 5-17
rated Flow= 7.9gpm -- 9 gpm

Also noted changes on the 3510 and 3510HST models. Since my construction/perm loan is closing this week, I have the green light from the CFO to purchase a 4110. Of the 3 my dealer has, how do I know if I have an old one or a new one? Just look at the tire size?? They all have the 16.9x24 rears.

Help unconfuse me!

Re: What\'s Up???

Well, glad to hear that you have decided on the 4110. I was wondering just the other day what you had decided since you last post on the 35 and 41.

I have a brochure that is a few months old and it shows a slight change in the engine hp and pump output just as you've said. I'm thinking that these new ratings are probably just a more precise set of calculations on the same machine as opposed to the old. Did they actually change anything??? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Re: What\'s Up???

The 17.5X24L tires are industrial, the 16.9X24 are R1 Ag tires.

The rest of the info makes me curious, as my Mahindra 4110 is on order, and was supposed to have left Georgia last Friday. If there have been changes it appears that the hydraulics were tweaked would be the biggest change.

Re: What\'s Up???

Keith,

I looked and the 16.9s are R4s! It must be a gearing issue with respect to the wheel turn when using the 4wd. With the change in specs, the good side is the increase in the hydraulic pump output. I'll ask my dealer this question. If he doesn't know, I have the Southeast reps phone number and will bug him. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif The 4110 is a beast, isn't it?!

Re: What\'s Up???

The hydraulic pumps were increased quite a while ago, and tire sizes also. Unless a dealer has an old one kicking around from a year or more ago you should have the latest pump set up. There is a serial break but can not remeber what it was, as this was last spring with the change, but all tractors shipped as of last spring should have the larger pump. Tire change from my understanding was to allow clearance for the backhoe subframe, to allow tire chains clear the backhoe subframe if equiped.

Re: What\'s Up???

Is there any way to find the serial number break when the pumps changed?
I'm really curius as my 4110 shipped last spring and I hope it has the bigger pump for the FEL & BH work.
Thanks!

Re: What\'s Up???

Scott,

Thanks for the information on the pump. All 3 tractors are recent stock so those will have the upgraded pumps. Thanks for looking out for us! Do you know if the tires can be pushed out any more? I have some slopes near my creek and am worried about a possible rollover.

Re: What\'s Up???

The ag tires are adjustable width, but r-4's are not.
As far as serial brake, when i get a chance i'll try to call product development and see if he can give me the serial break again.
The parts list just shows a change ,but no serial break.
