Satoh S630D Bull, Case 195, Case 222 etc.
I'm thinking maybe I know why the PO wanted to sell me this tractor. I like the tractor but I just got a price for rear axel seals, 53.00 each. Yikes!!
It'll cost 60 to get the 1 set of brake shoes relined. I first thought I'd get just 1 axel seal but the phrase " penny wise but dollar foolish" kept running thru my head. Hopefully It will last me quite a while once I get it right. BTW it's a Satoh 630D.

Mike,
As you found out, Satoh and Mitsubishi parts are not cheep. I have a Mits. Have bought several parts over the years. Pricey to say the least, but really, they don't need many parts (other then maint stuff). And, heck, if the new parts last as long as the original (30+ years) are they really that expensive?

One may be able to purchase that seal at a Bearing Supply House...

I was able to find a pair thru a local tractor dealer. Shipping will cost more than the seals. It couldnt be found by part #. but was found by measurements stamped on the seal.
