whats wrong with my 4035?

I have a 4035 with 520 hours. It has started making a hitch [bump in ride] about every revolution of the rear tires. I checked every thing I can think of. I am running chains on the front and a blower on the rear.
I run in 4by4 all the time. I have taken it out of 4by4 and it still does it.
The only thing of any significance this winter is I picked up a load binder and the shear bolts went. I replaced them and all was well. Its been 3 months since I broke the shear bolts.
Is it possible that I broke the axle with the load binder even if it ran well after the shear bolt replacement?
What else could be causing this bump. It痴 just like I am running over a rock on one rear tire.

Could be a bubble in a rear tire. Can you have someone watch as you drive on a level smooth surface to see if they can identify the location? If it's a bubble the tractor should dip or rise in that spot.

Is there any chance that you have ice in one or both of the rear tires?

That's the only thing I can think of right off hand.

How about swap tire/wheel sdes, the tread will be backwards but might help locate problem.

I run calcium in tires so nofreezing, I looked at tires while blowing drive way and could not see anything. I cannot take tires off this time of year, We live in the bush in northern BC and will get big dumps of snow until the end of March sometimes to the end of April.
Its got me stumped. I think tomorrow I will go out with a freshmind and look for something I missed. I can't think it's ice on a wheel as I did blow the 1 mile long driveway today. Any ice would have broken up. There are no fluid leaks.

Sounds like it might be in the rear end. Have you jerked or yanked on anything with the machine? Does it happen in all gears, or only in one gear (guessing it is a gear model)? What about the range selector?

All bolts tight?
Any extra chain slack catching on something?

It's a shuttle model. I do skid trees in the summer. Hope that's not it as getting fire wood is one of the reasons I have a tractor. I hope it lasts until breakup as its impossible to get it out of here to a dealer this time of year. I do believe the chains on the front wheels are ok. It happens in more than 1 gear and range.

Jack the side up that the "clunck" is coming from...block the other wheels..put it in neutral, try and turn the rear tire by hand..see if the "clunck" remains...if not, its probably a loose lug somewhere on the wheel...retighten all of them...good luck.. BobG in Va

Rubber tires get "hard" in the winter,,
after the tractor sets for a day or two,,,
the bottom of the tire is a little out of round.

Park it in the sun on a warm day,, then take it for a ride,, all should be at least better.

That was very common with car tires in the late 1960's,,,
