Check this out. The pic is on dealers page to buy the tractor in picture.

Get a great used tractor. It's only maimed 3 out of 4 reckless users....

It's hard to tell for the picture is so small.

Sort of reminds me of something I saw awhile back (can't locate it on the Internet right now) showing one forklift lifting another one in some factory. Some guys were hanging onto the forklift that was not on the ground. Didn't appear to be OSHA-approved!

Hold the presses! I just saw the picture on this site. Under "Using bucket as work platform", a link to the picture is in post #2 by knute_m.

then I'd say yall haven't used an auger very much if at all. maybe only digging in sand. try some hard pan or clay. some augers i've seen do come with a long lever type pole.

thingy...... how about a bunch of us on TBN pool our money and buy a multi million dollar insurance policy on you. From some of the things that you say that you have done, I am beginning to be inclined to believe that our chances of collecting on the policy are greater than our chances of winning the lottery. If you want to live to a ripe old age, you better start taking better care of yourself. We don't want to be reading about you in the Safety Forum.

Well I'm guilty. You guy's may be surprised how many people do this. It may not be the safest thing but neither is letting your animals roam the streets.:)

Dusty, thanks, and I mean it.Never figured I'd live this long thats for sure, but I am a lot more carefull now than I used to be. Yeah, when I did that I was thinking to myself, that this ain't the brightest thing I have ever done,,that drive line not covered was the worst part, part of it was,but seems like I was looking pretty close to a part of it and a u joint that wasn't,first time I ever used one too,,,like I said,it worked great after I got off tractor and put 260 lbs on lift arm, even rocked it back and forth a little,,,it was august and dry here,,plus about 9-10 inches down was shale,,,but like I said, sometimes a mans gotta do what a mans gotta do. thingy
