I bought 48 acres in Kentucky, my dream property, 4 years ago. There are some rolling hills, some steep hills and about 15 acres of woods. I do not live on my "farm" but I do long for the day when I have a cabin built. I have a perfect spot picked perched on a hill overlooking nearly half of the property. I bought my Kioti tractor to keep the land groomed and to give me an excuse to be on my farm. dde04 I have a small pole barn and now have electric. Next year I hope to have a half-acre pond created for additional recreation and family fun (and of course fishing eventually). I have been very pleased with my DK45SE HST. Admittedly I hadn't heard of Kioti until I was in the market for a tractor. I decided to go with Kioti for three main reasons: 1) there is a local dealer 15 minutes from my house that is terrific and they have been in business for 30 years selling Kubota then Kioti (exclusively Kioti these days), 2) I could not find more tractor for the money and I REALLY REALLY tried and 3) I think they are good looking machines. Sure, you can see the Kubota influence/lineage but the tractor stands on its own quite nicely. That said, I have not seen one in any fields along the 45 mile stretch from my home to my farm. This doesn't bother me, but I am surprised that I have not seen at least one, as the dealer moves quite a few tractors every year. What is your story? Why do you own a tractor and if it's a Kioti why did YOU choose it over the JD, Kubota, etc.?
