What's your supper table look like?

I am parroting Larro Darrow's "What's for supper?" thread. Here is how mine looks right now as I prepare supper for my hard-working girlfriend who has been slaving away in a computer lab much of the day. Too bad the supper won't be as fancy as the picture shows the setting....:laughing:

Yes, that is a cat under the table...and he is the reason the towels are on the chair backs...he LOVES to use the wicker as a scratching post.

I'm off most Wednesday nights, since people don't tend to schedule events on church night. So I will often cook supper for us, giving Margie a break. But Wednesday is also the day Harvey's has all their weekly specials in their deli. So when the paper comes out, we will look at the sales paper and decide if she wants me to cook, or for her to pick up something from the deli on her way home from work.

Yep, 18" natural stone tile. It was here when we bought the place, so don't know anything about it, other than it looks like there are 3 or 4 different kinds mixed in. The outside border is lighter color, but not the same all the way around.

Very interesting patterns in the tiles.

I haven't seen the top of our supper/lunch/breakfast/snack/reading rack/general all around all purpose horizontal surface table in years. :laughing:

Somewhere down there is a 1x2 meter oak table top. Sometimes I need to gently remind Sharon where the approximate middle is when she gets to poaching on my end. :muttering:

We bought a bigger table in July. Now we can pile one end up with stuff, and still have room to eat at the other end. Our old table was too small for that. We only cleaned it off when we had company. The rest of the time, we ate at the bar. Now the old table has been moved to the end of the bar where it is used for jellies and canning. But here is a couple of pictures of the new table.
