Sorry - Im new to power steering in a tractor.
MF 135 1971 Perkins 3 cyl gas with power assist steering (PS pump up front on right hand side - PS cylinder is just in front of steering column).
I have been filling the power steering pump up to the fill-hole threads with the wheels pointed straight ahead.
I read a forum thread (I dont remember which forum) discussing massey PS fluid (I dont remember the MF model) and one person said to check and fill the pump with the wheels turned full left.
This got me concerned that I might be filling the power steering pump incorrectly.
Any thoughts on wheel direction when checking the PS fluid level?
Thanks greatly
Phil
