Wheel Spacers on Yanmar YT235

I added a pair of Bro-tek 3" wheel spacers last night. So far, so good. The response time and customer service from Richard has been really good. Most places do not have anything listed about YT235s or Yanmar in general for their wheel spacers.

That really widened the stance on her,
looking at the photo with the witness marks brought up a couple of questions in my mind.

1) did you use a thread locking compound on those studs?
is it recommended or not?

2) if those studs where just a bit longer it would be nice to put a nyloc nut on them as a lock nut

any thoughts?
I don't need spacers as my rims are adjustable, just curious.

1. The instructions did call for high strength (red) thread locking compound on the studs.
2. I'll check the witness marks every 2 hours for a bit, then every oil change. If they move at all, I'll probably at an warping/interference nut on the inside.

When I talked to Richard today about the outer nuts, he recommended thread lock on those as well. I'll likely just use split lock washers if the outer witness marks move. Inside and outside marks are easy to check now. Not to mention there is room to remove the three point arms to hook up the B75 backhoe.
