Anyone out there used or recommend bolt on wheel weights for a DK40SE HST?

I will fill the tires if I have to but I prefer something I can lift in sections or plates. I don't have any way to wrestle with 900 lb tires either - need a lift or another tractor! My brother-in-law, myself and a couple of 12K bottle jacks are all I got.

Just curious if anyone has been down this street already and has a report.

Thanks.

KIOTI offers a bolt-on rear weight kit for your tractor. The carriers will handle 2-75lb weights per side. We have sold quite a few recently, since it offers the flexibility to remove the weight when you don't need it. Not as much weight as Rim-Guard, but along with a 3-point attachment, can offer good ballast for loader work.

Will the wheel weight kit work with my DK45S with R-4 wheels?

@ Hoosier man. A NEW/recent Tractor With R-4's from KIOTI, cannot accept wheel weights. The only way to add ballast is a box or fill tires with fluid.

Sorry! However if you ever need front weight, A suit case weight bracket and weights are available.

Can you add weights to R1's? What size of R1's does a DK45 accept?

@ Hoosier. A DK45S r-4's should be able to accept factory wheel weights. How to check - Do your tractor wheels have three 5/8" or 3/4" holes in them? They should be in a triangular pattern. If you do they have the correct pattern and your local KIOTI dealer can order them for you. I have seen people use as many as 3 or 4 on each side. Caution though - your using Grade 2 ALL THREAD! I would recommend finding some Grade 5 or 8.

Sorry for the previous post - I was brain dead. You said DK45S - I was think 55S.

Or maybe even a few more. I don't know about the all thread though, my weights bolt to each other with grade 8 bolts.

We have KIOTI Rear Wheel Weights for the DKSE Series R-4 Wheels. As we said in our earlier post, the KIOTI Kit accepts 2-75lb weights/side.

They also fit the R-1 Rims.
