I'm not totally clear on wheel weight options for a Deere 3033R with the 41x14-20 turf tires. I see two different wheel weights specified for the 19.5" wheels:

BM17968 - Rear wheel weight, 55 lb (1)

BM17965 - Rear wheel weight, 60 lb (1)

Are both an option? What's the diff?

Most importantly, if I were to stack 3 per side with the rear wheels set to the wide position, would they stick out? Some YouTube videos I've seen show that two weights (although I don't know which of these two) seem to be so far recessed behind the tire side wall that a third set might just fit without sticking out at all.

I'm debating doing triple weights vs. Rimguard, and yes... I know the Rimguard is both heavier and cheaper in this tire configuration, although I don't have pricing on the weight kits, yet.

Thanks!

I would buy the newer style 60 lb weight, not the old style 55 lb.

My tires on my 2720 are 36x14.00-15 R3 and two 60 lb weights stick out about an inch. Your dealer should be able to answer the stick-out question for sure.

Are the mount holes on your tractor 4 bolt or 3 bolt pattern?

Excellent question. Some rims do not have any weight mount holes. If the parts catalog or wholegoods price book do not call out weights for those 20 inch wheels you are on your own to figure something out.

It will have weight mounting holes but photos Ive seen of the 3033R with turfs showed the 3 bolt weight pattern on the wheels. The BM17965 60 lb weights are 4 bolt only. I haven't found any info to tell me if they are stackable either.

Some of the wheel weight options require a starter weight then add on weights.

The 20 inch wheels on my 4310 have the 4 bolt weight pattern.
