Wheelbarrow tires going flat

I should not go "off topic" on you, but I will. :) ONLY, because your complaint is one I had all the time and I finally solved it with a rubbermaid wheelbarrow. This is one of the absolute best products I ever purchased. Had mine for about 10 years. WAY easier to move loads, indestructible. Solid tires...IMHO, the best there is.Yes, they are pricey now, but if you use one a lot. consider. A side benefit is it sits "level" unlike some "normal wheelbarrows"; which makes it better for certain tasks like mixing sacks of concrete. NO RUST, NO TIRE ISSUE, Much easier to move...
Sorry not to directly answer your question, but I gave up on wheelbarrows with air tires a long time ago.

I have one of those and I love it, but the axle keeps pushing out so the wheel on 1 side sticks out about an inch. If I don’t pay attention it breaks the pin and the wheel falls off. Any idea how to fix that?

Hmm, I just went out to look. On one side the wheel does have more slack - wheel1 pic. But I have never had anything break. I did notice on that wheel, that there is a gap / space on the outer side of the wheel assembly - the other side, that piece is flush inside the wheel. So, on one tire, everything is flush, the other side is the inner and outer pictures.
The only difference I can see is it looks like the "loose" side is caused by the outer gap where that ring should be pressed in further. Tried quick by hand... nope.

I use this. My old front wheel wheelbarrow just holds my pool cover in the summer, I hardly use it for anything.

I can walk the recycling, pick up sticks, carry potted plants and go up and down the inclines without worrying about side spills. Attach to lawn tractor, put saws and stuff in when working close to house.

I never mix cement or anything that would be more wheelbarrow specific. Though my 4 wheeler has carried quickcrete bags to put in posts.
So far, 6 years in and no flats, though I know it will happen eventually.
Regular wheelbarrow tires started leaking after about a year.

Reading through the posts on WheelBarrows brought back memories. I was talking to a gentleman one time and he advised he paid for his College Education by driving a Georgia Buggy in the summer time.

I asked him what a Georgia Buggy was and he advised a Wheelbarrow filled with concrete building I-95 and other Highways and bridges in Georgia.

Proves one can unintentionally learn something new if they just listen.

I have had one of these for about 4 years and it also gets rave reviews. Mine is called Gorilla Cart I think and it looks like the one in your picture. You might mention the handhold is reversible to allow it to be pulled by a lawnmower. Mine stays hooked up to a mower for stick pickup. Side rails were added using the provided slots to allow for more bulk items such as leaves or pinestraw. Mine has a weight rating of 80 pounds and I have hauled at least that much without any noticable damage. On caveat is that with the side rails sticking up 2 feet sometimes it will get off balance with a full load and either turn over or almost.

Why would anyone use a wheel barrow when you have a tractor with fel.

I lot of people do not own a front end loader or a tractor loader combo so they use or utilize what they have.

Tractor won't fit through the gate into the house yard, and even if it did, it might be a tad overkill to use a 75hp tractor with FEL to collect lawn clippings! 😊

Air permeates inner tubes, especially those made from Chinese rubber. I have several dozen small pneumatic tires and all need air occasionally. I use "Slime" in my bicycle inner tubes which greatly slows down air loss. I tried it in the small pneumatic tires and found those which needed air once a week now last several months.

Much cheaper than replacing with solid or airless tires.

I was joking but i would bet that most on here do.
