Wheels and Tires- Other Choices than dealer?

Search to see if this was duplicating another recent thread, but didn't see another. Glad to take it elsewhere, if need be.

If a guy wanted another set of wheels and tires, (one set for turf tires and another for bar tires) which more than a few here have mentioned as their practice, does one go back to the dealer? Are there equally good sources elsewhere? Finally, are there any warranty issues in shopping elsewhere, if you keep the same size faithfully?

Wheels? or just tires. Just ordinary tire places would have/or could get, wheels for a BX, for example?

For a BX tractor,I believe another set of rims/tires can be purchased through Whole Goods(ask your salesman) for a very reasonable price.

I got a set of bar tires and wheels for my BX2200 from the dealer, whole goods, for approx $300.

eBay periodically has BX tires and rims for reasonable prices. Shipping is a killer of course unless something comes up nearby. New England seems to have them most often.

Set up an eBay search and receive emails whenever something is posted. Like "(tractor model) tires". It would look like "BX2200 tires"

Milkman, that's strikes me as a GREAT price. I would do that in a heart beat. Just wondering whether there were non-dealer options somewhere, but if I could match your price, there'd be little need. I will check with my dealer next week. I will use your info to compare what he quotes me.

Was that $300 for the set, or each tire/wheel? Where did you buy them, if you don't mind? And did you buy them at the same time you bought your tractor?
