KUBOTA L3000DT, FEL.
HELLO TO ALL,
when i mounted my home made wheel weights on my L3000DT, i moved the
tires, (wheels) out as far as they would go. now i have a problem, because the
fender only covers part of the tire, it now throws mudd, and debris. does anybody
know if there is a extension for the fender that will cover all of the tire to prevent
this? thanks.

Some Kubota models do offer extension{B7100 later models}fenders, and if I remember Country & Farm tractor part catalog offer an after market extension fender.

Brown mud:
Just don't swallow if it's brown and has an organic texture. Learned this after riding a bike on horse trails.

It'd be a waste of time and money, William, to extend the fenders over the rear tires, because the front ones will still throw mud at you./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif At least my B2710 does./w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif

You might be able to use the flexible fenders they sell to people who put larger tires on their trucks.

Extending Fenders:
Would it be possible to find several old tires and cut and bolt them to the existing fender to extend the fender. It may not look nice but this is only a suggestion. Being a machinist you may also be able to come up with something in this thought line to cover the front tires or protect from mud flying off the front tires. They would also be flexible.

Not that I have tried, but I doubt I could go fast enough to throw any mud !!!

That's what I do, Mark. When I get my tires muddy, I just take off down the road wide open and sling as much off as I can before I wash the tractor (and myself)./w3tcompact/icons/wink.gif
