When 4100 first built?

I bought the Field Guide to JD Tractors recently at Barnes & Noble. It's a nice book with lots of pictures showing the history of JD tractors from the Waterloo to 2002ish.

They had a picture of a 4100 in it and said it was the smallest at that time, 2002.

Anyone know when the 4100 and 4010 were first built?

No mention of the 2210. When was it started?

I bought my 4100 in July, 1998 and at the time there was only one of those one page brochures for the tractor as the 4200-4600 tractors weren't released yet. My dealer said mine was the second or third one he sold so I don't think they were in production much before July 1998.
