son built one something like that, but it lays on the ground, take the loader and put the section of tree trunk in the area, (two large H beams on each side ) and pull the lever, and it will split it in to three about 8 x 8" sections, return the top part and do it again (he had a large wood burner, that would take 8x8" sections, but would be nice to knock down some of the larger in to more manageable units, for the small splinter,
