I picked up my new B3030HSCC today and was a little surprised to see that it had a horn. I drove a friend of a friend's cab B3030 and I almost sure it didn't have a horn. I think his might have been a 2006. Is this a new feature?
The only persons to ever use the horn on any of my Kubota's is my grand kids and then just for the sake of blowing it. Guess if you lived on a farm and had to drive through the herd of cows/steers then you might want to blow it to tell them to use the cross walk.
The Gotcha Man
If you read thru the post Bruce Smith shows just what you need to order, part numbers and all.
I did mine. I use the horn quite a bit , just the other day I was going across the lawn my wife was parking the pickup right where I was going to get mulch.
She was getting out of the truck I blew the horn and signaled for her to move the truck.
If I wasn't able to get her attention I would have had to move the truck myself once I got there, don't forget I have a cab the Dvd is playing, A/C running it's not that easy to open the door and yell.
Another time my son was walking back into the house I blew the horn he turned and looked at me I motioned don't forget Mow the lawn.
A horn does not have to be used just in an emergency.
You blow it people look at you, then you signal what you want.
