When do year 2008 M Series (M7040/M8540) Tractors usually hit dealer lots?

Is there going to be in big difference in 2007 vs. 2008 models?

Are there any discounts or are dealers eager to offer any deals to get 2007's off their lot in expectation for the 2008's?

Tractors and cars are totally different. There is no such thing as a model year for us. An M7040 is an M7040 and always will be an M7040.
