winter is close.. will kubota give bigger discounts in nov. or dec.? i'm 95 % getting a 5200.
i need it last week, but money is tight... i'll wait a week or two if you guys think incentives/rebates will go up soon!

Incentives change at the beginning of each quarter.

Steel is going up.

I would expect incentives to go down and/or prices to go up.

Submitted for your consideration ....

If a company can continually offer and change promotions, rebates, discounts and incentives, are their products over priced to begin with? Would it be better to look at lower priced competitor machines with equal or better capabilities and ratings?

I drove from Savannah to Barlows for the deal they offered on my 5800 when I was just shopping for a 4800 that's how good their deal was...I would get a quote from them.

You won't get another change from Kubota until 1/1/19. They change on 9/30/18 and 12/31/18 these last 2 quarters of the year. So right now no changes until after the new year.

I am inclined to agree....go ahead and get what you need. I doubt they will go down. Looks like 0% for 60m or 0.99% for 72m or 1.99% for 84m at present. A few other items to look at as well.

I was given a quote on a tractor/implement package a few weeks ago and the dealer said the quote would be good till the end of the year. That includes the rebates and financing terms. I do not expect it will be better first of the year, but I am not exactly sure how steel tariffs will affect tractor parts coming out of Japan? Odds are that they won't benefit. Interest rates are on the rise as well. I'll be making it a point to purchase before the end of the year, including buying the shipping container to park it inside.

With my luck, I'll make this "smart" decision to buy before prices go up, then the economy will crash, I'll get laid off and have to sell at a loss...Oh well, can't plan for failure.

I would figure your best tractor price would come around xmas... whos buying tractors at that time unless you are in the very deep south.

Depends on tractor size too. I got my latest offer for 0% 84 months on a new M7; however, my current M7 has not yet hit 1,000 hours at 18 months also at 0% for 84 months. With tariffs, tractor market over 100 HP took a nasty hit in October while under 100 HP the market was up 5% to 10%, higher increase as they go lower HP. With higher interest rates its getting harder to justify financing incentives except that customers have become used to them. Increase the SRP enough to pay for the incentives.
