When I retire Im not gonna be held hostage to that darned thing

How much money do those dumbos down in Washington get to make jackass decisions like this ??? Using a 30 year old study to formulate policy for the rest of the nation !

And we are worrying about global warming when we cant even get something as simple as setting our clocks right !

No sir, when I retire Im not changin anything ! ;) :)

OK Im done :)

When I retire, I'm going to buy/build a local dairy queen, hire all the high school girls, then go the Caribbean in the winter.
that's been the plan and I'm sticking to it.
I remember walking to school in the dark as a 10/11 year old in the 70's because we stayed on daylight savings time for the winter to save fossil fuels, and my mom raising holy he(( with the whole world because of it.
now AZ does not go on daylight savings time.

At least Arizona has some sense. Some parts, if not all, of Indiana used to ignore DST as well. Don't know if they do any more.

DST has been compared to making a blanket longer by cutting six inches off one end and sewing it on the other.

When you retire you throw the clock out any way.
The only important times are "Eating" time and "Sleeping" time.

When you retire you will need something to do, maybe changing the clock twice a year will be one of those things.

Maybe if I cut six inches off the top of the blanket and put it on the bottom, my feet will stay warmer at night.

Right on both comments.:D Twice a year I have to look at the manuals to remember how to set the clocks in our minivan and pickup.

When I retired I got rid of my watch and my land phone line. My timepiece is my cell phone which changes automatically.

I do not use my watch since retiring. Recently I caught myself wearing my watch. :( But when I checked the time it had no display. :D

Ahh the benifits of living in Arizona. Plus being retired. Heck most of the time I don't even know what day it much less what time it is.
