When is a good time to buy???

Have a look at the chart at the bottom of this page. It shows historically October having a large drop off in sales. I assume it is due to less mowing needs in northern climates and next years models being introduced creating holdouts to see what’s new.

Kinda makes one wonder why there are so many here saying buy, dealers you suppose? Yeah interest rates could go up (though hard to imagine Deere’s being higher considering they’re already too high), but what are the possibilities of rate increases in a month of historically weak sales? Kubota’s rates....that is a crap shoot. Deere’s new lineup looks pretty nice, but their financing looks bad to me. Considering Deere just sold hundreds of millions in bonds, I’m wondering if Deere’s financing will actually get better.

BTW....the “drops” in the new Deere model pricing.....they were priced much higher than Kubota to begin with and it appears they were losing market share to KUB. In my opinion they had plenty of room to drop price and could be the reason we see new models is to give them an excuse to drop. They would have had screaming customers complaining they paid too much. Change model number, problem taken care of right.
