Been needing to haul calves for a few months but it never seems to stop raining here. Rained day before yesterday. Wife didn稚 shut the gates to keep cows from disappearing into the woods yesterday evening so wasn稚 sure how it would go. Got on four wheeler and headed across pasture. They came out of woods and followed me back to pen. Right in they went. Managed to separate them by myself before wife got out there. Get trailer backed up to gate. Don稚 have a chute as it痴 one of those pin together panel pens. Wife shows up and as we are getting more panels to herd them, one calf stepped on trailer. Wife walks on behind him to push him to the front and the other calf follows her. Easiest trailering we have ever done. Put truck in four wheel high to get out of pasture. It slid enough that the trailer was going to hit corner post so had to back up and put in four wheel low. Got out without getting stuck and then hit green on the lights in town on the way to auction barn. Think I need to get some lottery tickets today.
