When will the LS made engines be put in their tractors?

Just left my dealer and asked the question about the LS made engines. HE thought that would not start showing up until 2016. Has anybody heard different?

I was just at the Farm Show in Syracuse today and the factory rep said June.

Yes. I'm looking at getting a second smaller tractor and will wait on the new engine if I go with LS.

Are they designing their own? Or are they using someone else's design?

I'm not sure. I think he said they were "building their own". Kind of a tough subject when you're standing around new product that requires a burn-off cycle.

Talking to the guys at the Mahindra booth they are going with this type system also.

I went to the Syracuse Farm Show today. Talked with the LS Rep. (He is the same Rep. I exchanged several Emails with last year re: issues I had with my selling dealer) who said they are supposed to have the new LS built engines in new tractor models starting in June / July. Not sure if they will be classified as 2015 or 2016 models. New motors are common rail. Tractors with the new LS motor will have different model numbers and HP is supposed to be slightly higher than current models. At this time no specs are available to the public yet. Of course they are tier 4 but couldn't go into detail on how they meet the tier 4 specs.
This will not affect any service or warranty issues on previous models.
