If my wife ever got the tractor out, I would faint dead away :) I tried to interest her in at least learning to clear the snow in the drive in case of an emergency, no dice.

Time to get your wife one of those cute little yard tractor Kubotas

Enjoyed your story my (wife) even rearanges "our" tools and has been known to move my shop fans to her liking.
BTW when ever I think I have misplaced my "billfold" she's always the one who finds it. :confused2:

Same here Dave...When I got my TC-29D Boomer..The brochure had a woman driving it on the cover and a few pictures of women on the Tractor inside the brochure...I showed the brochure to my wife and asked her if she would like to learn to operate it in case she ever had to....LOL..You should have seen the " Are you kidding ! " look on her face..No dice here either...

At the first Kubota dealer I worked for, if a husband and wife came in to look at a tractor, the first thing the owner would do is get the woman on the tractor, as soon as she saw how easy they were to operate, the machine was sold. The husband didn't even have to plead with her. In most cases they would come in with a $6-7000 budget and end up leaving with closer to $20,000 worth of tractor and implements with huge smiles on their faces. Of course this was 20 years ago.
