Where Are You On Google Earth?

One of the things I love about TBN is interacting with people from all over the world, living in different climates, dealing with different terrain and especially (when posters include photos) seeing the different landscapes...

So I got thinking - wouldn't it be great to be able to take a virtual tour of peoples land and see just what it's like?

To kick off, here are my co-ordinates: 38°21'18"N 0°51'00"W

If you copy and paste the co-ordinates into Google earth, you will be able to see our land in the centre of the picture - please forgive the weeds!

To post you co-ordinates here, simply zoom into your land on Google Earth and make a note of the co-ordinates which appear at the bottom of your screen...

It will be really great if lots of tbn users show off their land in this way - maybe someone could even develop a TBN Google Earth plugin??? :thumbsup:

Another example: the farm I used to share farm in the UK:

51°47'04"N 2°59'51W

If you look at the photo from 2004 you can see our 400 jersey x fresian cows in the collecting yard, and can almost make me out on the quad behind them. You can also see my old Case 956 tractor parked in the silo, with the trailed fert spinner on the back....

No disrespect taken - I fully understand that some will not want too, but I'm sure there are others (like myself) whose home and business / land are seperate...

I'm with you. Little enough privacy as it is these days, don't want to give up what little anonymitiy there is left.
