I can't tell you of any specific site to learn about hydraulics but after you learn enough to want specific questions answered you are on a pretty good site right here. Before you start your Internet search, check your spelling of the word hydraulics, I misspell it all the time. There are many years of knowledge on the TBN associated with hydraulics and many other related issues. Search Ebay for books on hydraulics. If you don't find it the first try, keep up the Ebay searches and eventually you will find what you are looking for.
Good luck with your search for knowledge and welcome to TBN.

This is a start for you Army hydraulics manual
If you would like to download a pdf version, scroll to the bottom of the linked page. I can't get it to link directly.
(Credit for this source belongs to a gent on this board that offered a similar link for a manual for backhoe operation ... I can't remember who it was)
Cheers!

HomeBrew2,
I have seen this manual before, but I need to know how to access the entire manual. Can You help me? This is a very good Manual on many subjects.

Thanks,

RoMo

Go to the Downloadable Documents link at the bottom of the page that you viewed. The complete document is the larger of the two files listed for downloading.

Excellent reference. At last I actually may learn something about the subject.

As an engineer, it has always embarressed me that hydraulics has been one of those "black box" subjects as far as I'm concerned. I know enough about it to realize that I don't know enough about it. This may help clear up some of the "fog". Again ... thanks.

Glad it was helpful. Again, the thanks really goes to another member but I can't remember who. You may have noticed there are are a BUNCH of field manuals as well as other pubs if you go up a couple levels in the url's then do a library search, etc.
