Where did all of the BX Grill Guards go?

When I search, I find posts about BX Grill Guards being on eBay and other sites for ~$80 -- all of these posts are from a few years ago. Now I can only find them for ~$160+. Any idea on why they went up or became scarce? The model of the guard didn't change, I believe. Thanks!

Well - years ago they WERE $80. Today with all the cost increases they are $160. And that's cheep. Here is a pic of my grill guard - it was $340 to have the expanded metal added to the existing framework.View attachment 408866

Checked with Barlows and they wanted $275. I am going to check with a local dealer.

There was a guy on Ebay selling them. I believe they may have been seconds. The powdercoat on mine has some blemishes but not bad. He also had other powdercoated stuff on ebay.

I saw those and decided to go with a Fab Works OEM grill instead. Not as nice looking, in my opinion, but it comes with the tow hitch and attachment points that make it more useful to me for around the same price. I am waiting to get a shipping notice.
